- Installation prices include a setup with our default string packs (D'addario EXL 110 10-46) and tuning (EBGDAE). Other strings must be sent to us. Custom tunings must be listed in the form below.
- The neck has to be attached to the body in order for us to install in the proper position.
- Some bridges require light wood filling, such as Fender strats with the trem bar, for these installations we charge an extra $50.
- Certain guitars aren't recommended, such as Jazzmasters (not enough wood is removed to fill the hole left by the trem pocket) or Gibson ES330s (nothing solid to which attach the bridge). Chambered guitars are also unsuitable candidates unless you know the chambering is not at a support point. If there is any reason to make an exception, we'll let you know.
- We no longer offer installation services on guitars with an existing recessed bridge that would require a wood fill in order to install the EverTune system.
- F & T model Installation Notes: Minimum Body thickness for an F&T install is 1 3/4”. Any guitar body thickness less than 1 3/4” will require the foot plate to be installed on top of a custom back plate riser to ensure proper positioning of the modules.
- G model Installation Notes: The guitar body has to be 2.1” to do a standard G model installation where you recess the two back plate covers on the back of the guitar. Any guitar that requires a G model bridge with a body thickness of less than 2.1” will be a route through body installation and will require a F or T model back plate to cover the route pocket on the back. We recommend the T back plate for route through body installations due to the smaller footprint.
- To recess the footplate, the guitar body has to be at least 1 7/8” in order not to have to use a custom back plate riser.
- Any guitar body thickness less than 1 3/4” will require the foot plate to be installed on top of a custom back plate riser to ensure proper positioning of the modules.
- G model Standard or G model Long: If the bridge pickup is 5/8” or less from the scale length line, the G model Standard bridge is required. If the bridge pickup is more than 5/8” from the scale length line, the G model Long bridge is required and these almost always need to be milled down for an exact fit.
- For most G model installs original Tune-O-Matic Studs and their anchors will have to be pulled and refilled. Depending on the type of finish on the guitar and glues used on the original stud sleeves, this can, in some rare cases, remove finish around the holes. In these rare cases we will try to save any loose finish and re-glue it, and, in the case of glossy finish we will attempt to match the finish so that nothing is visible, in the case of matte finishes matching finish may be impossible.
- We will install 7 and 8 string bridges onto guitars that have G model string heights. In this case we use the F7 and F8 bridges and make a custom steel or aluminum riser plate. The cost for these installations are the G model cost plus $50. The plates will be spray painted to a close finish match, since they are custom cut, they will not be plated.
